Work Environment: 

This hospitality-based role is fully on-site in a fast-paced, high-throughput entertainment, attractions, and retail environment supporting in-person guest and team interactions

As an Attractions Operator at Great Wolf Lodge, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences and support daily sales and operations across a variety of attractions by guiding guests through attractions, executing equipment safety  procedures, maintaining safe and clean environments, and collaborating with your team to uphold brand standards in a high-energy resort setting. Your expertise in attractions operations, guest engagement, and safety compliance directly contributes to guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency across your attractions area.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Guest Experience

• Greet and engage guests while maintaining professional presentation
• Provide instructions and assist guests with equipment following proper safety guidance
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and escalate issues to leadership

Safety

• Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and asset protection protocols
• Participate in required safety and emergency training
• Report any incidents or hazards to leadership
• Maintain organized, clean work areas that comply with health and safety standards

Operations

• Execute daily attraction tasks, including attractions operations, opening and closing procedures with accuracy, daily checks and communication to leaders, and maintain cleanliness to uphold brand standards.  
• Leverage and maintain key operating supplies and parts
• Promote and sell products, services, and promotions to support sales goals and key performance metrics
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall resort operations

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older to work the Ropes Course and/or Rock Wall ; 16 years or older to work in other Attractions areas
• Some High School education or equivalent
• Ropes Course Operators must be comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more for extended periods of time
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands; including evenings, weekends, and Holidays
• Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Desired Qualifications & Traits:

• Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction
• Previous experience with cash transactions and Point of Sale systems
• Proven teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic and energetic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and climb multiple flights of stairs multiple times daily
• Ability to bend, twist, and stretch
• Ability to work in a loud environment with flashing lights
• Capable of fully extending arms overhead
• Dexterity to pinch/squeeze with force
• Candidates with a history of neck, back, shoulder, wrist, arm, and/or knee injuries may have difficulty with this position
• Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions
